Motorhome shows in France: the 2026-2027 calendar
Between discovering new products, picking up interior design tips from exhibitors, and soaking up the unique atmosphere of a hall filled with enthusiasts, motorhome shows are an excellent way to plan a trip, whether you're thinking of buying, borrowing ideas, or simply renting. Here's a calendar of the main events to know about in France (and nearby Switzerland) for the end of 2026 and for 2027.
In summary: the major national event remains the Leisure Vehicle Show in Paris-Le Bourget, from September 26 to October 4, 2026. Several regional shows follow in the autumn (Bordeaux, Narbonne, Rennes), the closest to us is held every spring in Grenoble, and our Swiss neighbors organize the Swiss Caravan Salon in Bern from October 22 to 26, 2026. For 2027, the first dates are starting to be released (Mulhouse in February, Auxerre in the spring), the rest of the calendar will be finalized in the coming months.
The national event: the Leisure Vehicle Show in Paris-Le Bourget
It's the largest trade show of its kind in France: over 150 exhibitors spread across approximately 70,000 m², for its 59th edition in 2025. In 2026, it will be held from September 26 to October 4 at the Paris-Le Bourget Exhibition Center. Visitors will find motorhomes, campervans, caravans, mobile homes, and rooftop tents from all brands, as well as conferences and activities focused on independent travel. The French Federation of Camping and Caravanning provides details on its website , along with the complete program for the 2026 edition .
Regional trade fairs for autumn 2026
If Paris is far from you or you prefer a more intimate atmosphere, several regional trade shows are taking place throughout the fall of 2026:
- Bordexpo, Bordeaux (33) : from September 17 to 20, 2026.
- Narbonne (11) : from October 8 to 11, 2026, at the Exhibition Park.
- Rennes (35) : from November 7 to 11, 2026, leisure vehicle show.
The format is generally more compact than in Paris, but the advantage is real: less crowd, more time to discuss with exhibitors and compare layouts in detail.
Grenoble and Switzerland, the closest events to home
For the past few years, Grenoble has hosted its own Vanlife Expo at Alpexpo, just over an hour from our Chapareillan office. The 2026 edition took place on May 9th and 10th, and the event traditionally returns every spring: so keep an eye out for the announcement of the next edition on the official Vanlife Expo website .
On the Swiss side, the Swiss Caravan Salon takes place at Bernexpo in Bern from October 22nd to 26th, 2026. It's the major annual event for the sector in Switzerland, a great opportunity if you're crossing the border or planning a future road trip in Switzerland. Details are available on the official Swiss Caravan Salon website .
It's also the perfect opportunity to identify the amenities you like before choosing your rental, without having to travel hundreds of kilometers. While you wait, our Top 6 Itineraries in Savoie page can already give you some destination ideas.
